All my bears are available for lay away over three months.Should you be interested please contact me. Bears will be sent as soon as the final payment has been made.
Paypal is the easiest option however,I will also take cheques or postal orders as well.
Hi, I'm Kathleen Eltis from County Durham and welcome to Bearlytherehugs, my range of quality handmade artist bears.
I've always loved bears, ever since I was given a Chiltern bear from my grandad when I was born He is much loved although thread bear to this day.
After a long career teaching Special needs and Textiles in schools, I started making artist bears around 4 years ago, and enjoy seeing my bears going to good homes.
Having taken early retirement to look after my mum I have plenty of time for my bear making activities.
I have a stall at Hugglets World of Teddy Bears each year in London, where all my bears available for adoption are on display, and some are displayed at Bear Bottom Bears in Darlington and Middleton Crafts, Middleton in Teasdale. I aso exhibited at Troon at the Scotish bear fair last November and be there again this November .I was interviewed for Teddy bear times Bearlytherehugs should be in print in the April May edition.
Plans for the future are to exhibit at more fairs around the country, win an award and design more bears.
